Had to pop out during the Meet session-- but I had a pressure cooker Meet user experience during lockdown. Once a week with each of my 4 classes. A really helpful advisor form Young Enterprise also joined my Meets for Y13 Young Enterprise.
I also had to run dept PDL sessions during lockdown with a lot of Meets and screen share.
What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani Great Kaupapa and pedagogy?I like the Mail schedule tool in 'Send' I never knew about it but it makes sense as I use the same schedule function when setting assignments and tests on EP through GoogleClassroom.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?I successfully installed the Keep extension.
Kia ora Peter,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading your reflections on DFI Day Two! I am sorry that there was the mishap with Meet. Hopefully this has been sorted now that we have put the new extension on your Chrome. Let's see what happens on Friday. In regards to Blogging, it would be interesting for you to ask your students if they are using Blogger as a tool to share their learning. This may open up some interesting discussions within your class/es and with colleagues around the use of Blogger within your school. We encourage Blogging as part of Share - an equal part of the Learn, Create, Share pedagogy. It is great to see you using this to support your reflection and I look forward to seeing you Friday.
Kind regards,
Latham
